Victor Calixto and his family have called the South Bronx home for the past 16 years, moving into Mott Haven shortly after his father established a woodworking business.

He grew up on 138th street and Brook Ave which meant loud weekend nights and days filled with older gentleman playing dominos on the sidewalks. It meant access to everything like transportation, grocery stores, local restaurants and a mix of cultures all intertwined in one area. This is what made the South Bronx unique and Victor knew he wanted to stay in his neighborhood.
